Each year, St. Martin’s works with the Social Workers in the Grand Island elementary schools to identify families that need a little extra Christmas cheer. Members of our congregation share their good fortune by purchasing specific Christmas gifts that the families have identified on their wish list.

Our Blessing Box will be the focus of our annual special Thanksgiving outreach due to overwhelming needs in our own GI community.
You will see a very festive Turkey in the hallway by the table that has some of the food items needed. Just choose a "feather" and bring the items to church on Sunday mornings and place them in the shopping cart to help replenish our Blessing Box.

We are looking for pictures/items from members of the parish and their families, who have or are serving in the armed forces of this country, for honoring our veterans. We would ask that each picture or other item be identified so that they may be returned to the owners following this display, which usually lasts for two Sundays.
Sunday, November 2 is All Saints’ Sunday, when the Church celebrates the whole communion of saints, both in heaven and on earth. Part of our yearly celebration of this Feast is remembering the names of the faithful departed who are now with the risen Lord Jesus.
