Goodfellows is selling roses for Mother’s Day starting on March 10 until April 7. All proceeds from rose sale will go towards offsetting the costs associated with the unexpected January broken sewer and flood damage to our church. They are $25/doz red roses. Orders can be picked up on Sunday, May 12. Take a great opportunity to honor your mother or an important mother figure in your life.
The second Lenten luncheon, held at Trinity Church on March 6th, featured Father Nick speaking about the value of giving up something for Lent. He reminded us that Jesus’ suggestion was to “Take up your cross and follow me.” This was a very frightening suggestion at the time, as the cross was a symbol of torture and persecution. St. Martin's Goodfellows presents Dinner and a Movie on Saturday, March 9! Dinner will be served from 4:30-6pm, with the movie starting at 6pm. -Tickets are $5/adult, $3 kids 6-12, FREE kids under 6 and can be purchased at the door or after church services -Dinner includes pancakes, sausages, tea/coffee/milk/pop/juice, desserts -We will be screening Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ
