Summer 2024 Scripture Series

Read, reflect, and share the Sunday Gospels in preparation for the upcoming Sunday. This is a relaxed group that will meet every two weeks starting on Tuesday, June 4 and ending Tuesday, August 27. Our gathering will meet at the rectory on the lawn weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair and your Bible (optional)! We will begin promptly at 7 PM and finish at 8:30 PM. Facilitators are Ashley Evancho and Anne Dietterich.

There will be 7 sessions {June 4 and 18, July 2, 16, 30, August 13 and 27} so come for one or two or all! Every meeting will be a chance to discover how God is present in your life and discover how the Holy Spirit is moving you to become the disciple of Christ God wills you to be.

Our focus will be on the week’s Gospel reading but every week we will also learn about different prayer forms as we begin each session. There will be time for learning, listening, quiet reflection and faith sharing. Every gathering will be a chance for a mini retreat to refresh your spirit and feed your soul.
