It’s that time of the year again when the LIFT group is humbly requesting donations of canned goods and/or monetary contributions in order to purchase fall vegetables (potatoes, onions, apples, squash, broccoli) from local farmers or turkeys for a food pantry to be delivered on Saturday, November 16. On Sunday October 20, there will be a separate collection for The United Thank Offering, an Episcopal World Wide Outreach , to be presented at the Diocesean Convention on October 25th and 26th in Erie. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
During their Urban Adventure, the J2A class had the opportunity to serve at The Garden of Love at St. Paul's Cathedral – which is a soup kitchen and clothes closet for the downtown community. Now the J2A and Rite 13 classes would like to further develop this relationship by collecting donations for Care Kits, clothing, and snack items beginning this Sunday, October 13. Mangia! Mangia! Please let our wonderful St. Martin's youth cook for YOU! The spaghetti dinner will be held at one of the most beautiful settings on the Niagara River, the Sandy Beach Yacht Club (1851 Winter Road, Grand Island). There will be food, music, dancing, 50/50 raffle, a wine basket raffle and a cash bar. No time to sit down? No problem! To-go dinners will also be available! Please help
Join us for Celebration Sunday on October 6! We will have one combined service at 9am. After the service, we will gather into small groups to continue our conversations about where God is calling St. Martin's. We hope to have everyone participate!
